  Publication of Banns 1757 Banns of Marriage were published between John Flecher and Ruth Leeson both of this parish on the three following Sundays the 15th 22nd 29th of May 1757 by me John Green Curate Then later Richard Adlington and Ruth Leeson both in this parish on these three following Sundays 2nd 9th and 16th of October 1757 by me John Green Curate No other Ruth found Presumably John Fletcher and Ruth broke it off after the banns were called and she went ahead with marriage to Richard Adlington 5 months later
